Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly qualified Armed Security Guard to provide safety and security during special events held. The ideal candidate will have experience in event security, maintain a visible presence, and be capable of responding to potential threats. This is a part-time position requiring professional demeanor, reliability, and exceptional situational awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and security of all attendees, staff, and event personnel.
  • Maintain a visible, vigilant presence throughout the event area.
  • Monitor entry points, control crowd behavior, and enforce event policies.
  • Respond to emergencies and potential threats in a calm, decisive manner.
  • Conduct regular security patrols of the event venue.
  • Work closely with event staff, local law enforcement, and emergency services as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Report any security breaches or incidents to event organizers and supervisors.
Requirements:
  • Must possess a valid Armed Security Guard License.
  • Must have a valid security guard D license.
  • Must have a valid FL driver's license.
  • Proven experience as an Armed Security Guard, preferably in event settings.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong observation, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Physically fit, able to stand and patrol for the duration of the shift.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with event attendees.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to event-specific security protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in crowd control or event security.
  • First aid, CPR, or emergency response training.
  • Experience working with local law enforcement.
