We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team on a flexible basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting, be highly organized, and proficient in accounting software. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. This position offers the flexibility to work in our office or remotely from your home.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial records
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Assist with tax preparation and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Collaborate with management to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making
- Manage invoicing and payment processing for customers
- Maintain financial documentation and filing systems
- Assist in year-end closing procedures and audits
Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant (preferably in a sign company or similar industry)
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members
- Flexibility to work in-office or remotely, as required
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with job costing and inventory management is a plus
- Familiarity with the signage industry or similar industries is highly desirable
- CPA or relevant certification is a bonus but not required

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
