Experience Required:
Sets the technical direction for the development team, leads technical teams to design and develop business critical applications with high complexity.
An expert that guides team members to architect, design and develop solutions that meet both the functional and non-functional requirements of the system.
Establishes standards and best practices.
Develops and mentors team members. Has in-depth domain knowledge of the relevant business area/s.
Works independently and communicate effectively with a broad audience. Has a defined authority and responsibility for a significant area of work including technical and financial aspects.
Defines organizational objectives, Gains consensus and delegates assignments to others with full accountability for their own work and that of the team.
Key responsibilities include requirement analysis, design, code, test, debug, document, implement and maintain software applications.
Identifies, analyzes, and raises risk early in projects with a broader business and technical perspective.
Anticipates internal and or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product, or service improvements. Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business. Contributes to the development of functional strategy.
Leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives. Refactors regularly as a standard coding practice.
Provides coaching to others.
Designing, building, tailoring, implementing various tools, e.g. continuous integration, testing, IDE automation, deployment, or other process automation tools.
Expert level at identifying and setting up POCs. Testing - Sets the standards for test design.
Provides guidance to others for improving tests and/or suggests improvements and refactoring. Assesses business and organizational needs to performance test new Systems and enhancements to existing systems.
Manages the application performance levels to customer expectations. Designs and writes tests to simulate challenging conditions.
Detailed understanding of how to effectively test code written against third party software.
Regarded as the technical expert in their particular field.
Responsibilities:
Knowledge Areas - Extensive knowledge of domain, regulations, procedures and practices of a specific discipline and/or business line.
Ability to perform highly complex independent research Project management experience including the ability to lead projects and project teams.
Master in Agile development methodologies. Proficient knowledge of applicable development domain.
Expertise with Object Oriented design and development including a thorough understanding of OO design patterns and practices.
Proficient with test driven development. Continuous integration deployment experience. Expert with database or content management system query, design, and development.
Highly specialized, technical skills in applicable programming technologies (Java, Angular, AWS Technology Stack).
