Overview

Now Hiring: Museum Store Assistant Manager

Schedule: 5 day work week-Weekday and Weekend availability needed

Winter hours 8:30a-4:30p (Nov-Feb)

Summer hours 8:30a-5:30p (March-Oct)

Location: Nashville, TN

Compensation: $42,000 to $44,000

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K

What you will be doing:

  • Assists in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with store policies.
  • Monitors and manages store inventory, including receiving, stocking, and replenishing products.
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
  • Provides exceptional customer service, including addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Assists in creating and executing promotional events, sales, and store displays to drive traffic and increase sales.
  • Collaborates with the marketing team to develop in-store marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Assists in managing store budgets, including tracking expenses and preparing financial reports.
  • Ensures compliance with museum policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
  • Handles administrative tasks such as payroll, employee records, and store documentation.
  • Develops and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and store loyalty.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Ability to identify and respond to needs.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
