The Professional Services Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for professional services roles within the organization. This role involves working closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, developing effective recruiting strategies, and managing the end-to-end recruitment process. The Professional Services Recruiter ensures that the organization attracts and retains highly skilled professionals who align with the company’s values and contribute to its success.

 

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and define job requirements for professional services roles.
  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
  • Manage the interview process, including coordinating with candidates and interviewers, and providing feedback to all parties involved.
  • Conduct reference checks and facilitate background checks as needed.
  • Manage full life-cycle recruiting: writing position descriptions, writing panel interview questions, participating in both pre-screens and panel interviews. 
  • Negotiate offers with candidates, ensuring alignment with the organization's compensation structure and market trends.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of potential candidates for future openings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates, professional organizations, and educational institutions to create a strong network.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by providing timely communication and feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, recruitment best practices, and employment laws.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage the recruitment process and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Participate in employer branding initiatives to enhance the organization’s reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Conduct analyses and develop recommendations regarding diversity sourcing and hiring plans.
  • Provide training and knowledge sharing to recruiters and hiring managers concerning methods on sourcing and recruiting diverse candidates. 
  • Leverage social platforms and online recruiting resources to create brand awareness while working to identify and recruit a diverse pool of qualified talent.
  • Enhance our national and regional diversity partnerships and activities through creative methodologies that result in brand awareness, talent generation and sustainable talent pipelines.
  • Identify and attend local and national recruiting events.
  • Overall program, project and relationship management with external national organizations and institutions.
  • Identify key organizations to develop relationships with and pilot/implement engagement opportunities.
  • Work cross functionally across SRE to move forward key priorities and broad initiatives aimed at growing our diversity pipeline.
  • Own and drive select strategic initiatives with program management efforts to deliver key achievements and results, including growing pipeline of underrepresented groups such as minorities, women, Veterans and people with disabilities.
  • Support cross functional teams with vital skills to help drive critical achievements and project successes.
  • Advise SRE leadership on communications opportunities relevant to programs and initiatives.
  • Identify and utilize new and existing job boards and other sourcing strategies/resources to attract and assist with onboarding diverse talent; manage and track results/outcomes, inclusive of interviews, hires and HUBZone conversions and feedback
  • Be capable of creating solutions without extensive oversight and leading others through change

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university in human resources, communications or business, or related field

• Demonstrated experience using Internet software, and human resources information system (HRIS) and applicant tracking system (ATS) applications.
• Basic knowledge of basic human resource functions such as compensation, benefits, employee/labor relations and training and development.
• Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.
• Responsible for adhering to external and internal program guidelines and deadlines.

Experience:

• Requires a minimum of five years of experience in Recruiting a Diverse Workforce and engaging organizations and stakeholders to advance our Diversity and Inclusion Policy and continuing to improve our diversity hiring initiatives, specifically within underserved and underrepresented communities. 
• Experience recruiting from college/university career programs

 

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $60,000 - $100,000/year. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. SRE considers a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Additionally, SRE adheres to all state and federal requirements regarding salary to ensure compliance with applicable labor laws. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of SRE’s total compensation package for employees.
