Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager – SAP Data Migration to lead and oversee the successful migration of SAP objects from SAP ECC and legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients and project teams to define strategy, coordinate execution, and ensure seamless data transition while maintaining high quality and compliance standards.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage SAP data migration projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data migration strategy, roadmap, and execution plans.
• Conduct workshops with clients to guide them on data migration processes, tools, and best practices.
• Oversee the end-to-end data migration lifecycle, including data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across business and IT to ensure smooth migration execution.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables while mitigating risks.
• Lead cutover planning and execution, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Ensure data quality through cleansing, profiling, and validation activities.
• Utilize data migration tools such as Syniti ADM, SAP BODS, or other ETL tools to optimize processes.
• Manage offshore and onsite teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery.
• Prepare and present progress reports, status updates, and risk mitigation strategies to stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

8+ years of experience in project management with a focus on SAP data migration. Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA migration, data cleansing, profiling, and harmonization. Hands-on experience managing large-scale data migration projects in SAP environments. Strong knowledge of SAP Finance, MM, SCM, EWM, Plant Maintenance, and MDM. Experience with data governance, data warehousing, and business intelligence. Familiarity with cutover planning, business process re-engineering, and functional requirement gathering. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Experience working with onsite-offshore models and leading distributed teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and other project management tools. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Finance, or Banking industries.
• Certification in PMP, Agile, or SAP-related disciplines.
• Hands-on experience with Syniti ADM, SAP BODS, or equivalent ETL tools.
