The Opportunity: Join BAE Systems’ Intelligence and Security Sector and be part of a diverse and enthusiastic team who supports the U.S Navy’s Strategic System Program (SSP). We are searching for an onsite Systems Integrator to support the Business System Integration Team to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
The Role: As an onsite Systems Integrator, you will focus on IT Enterprise Alignment to ensure that the customers’ IT infrastructure and systems are aligned with the digital model-based engineering needs of the organization. You will work closely within the SSP organization information technology managers to close identified customer gaps in IT infrastructure and develop IT strategies to bridge those gaps.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with engineering teams to understand their digital model-based engineering needs and identify opportunities to improve IT support.
- Develop and implement strategies to align the SSP organization's IT infrastructure and systems with digital model-based engineering needs, including the selection and implementation of new tools and technologies.
- Partner with IT operations teams to ensure that systems and infrastructure to support digital model-based engineering requirements.
- Collaborate with vendors and consultants to evaluate new tools and technologies that could improve digital model-based engineering operations.
- Act as a liaison between engineering teams and the IT department to ensure that IT support is responsive to the needs of the organization.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of IT support for digital model-based engineering operations, and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Be versed in Model Based Engineering concepts and a high-level functional understanding of the supporting tools sets
- Analyze organizational programs and provide a solution structure to alleviate existing IT service gaps vs the required program services
- Perform cost analysis of technical specifications identified in program gap analysis with alternatives
- Organize, lead and document discussions with customers and stake holders.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills BAE has found that the ideal candidate for this position will possess the following required skills/experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- At least 6 years of experience in IT management or IT operations
- Working onsite a minimum of three (3) days per week, two (2) days telework
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with partners and government officials
- Strong understanding of digital model-based engineering principles and tools
- Experience working in a cross-functional team environment, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
- Travel to field sites as required
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
